The application of this treatment is fairly simple, much like most of the treatments that are home inspired. You rub some onto the vulva and inside the vagina with a swab. You will be doing this for several days in order for it to work on the infection. A caution here is that it stains much like iodine.
That means that you would do well to wear black clothing and use heavy and think pads because it will stain everything a deep purple color. That is certainly nothing that you would want to get all over your good clothing or bed linens so take appropriate precautions.
As with anything that you have not tried before, it would be smart of you to try an application in a less sensitive area first to assure yourself that there will be no allergic reaction. An itchy vaginal area from ainfection is easy for you to explain. A swollen and itchy vaginal that is bright purple in color might cause a physician or other onlooker some concern so you are better safe than sorry here.
